Contrary to popular belief, the best creative people are humble. They are also proud of their work and willing to fight for it passionately. But there’s a big difference between being proud of your work and having an ego.
Our issue with having an ego is very simple – Big egos kill ideas and ruin the creative environment.
We also believe it’s very hard to have ideas in the first place if you have a big ego. To have ideas you’ve got to be willing to take risks and put bad, potentially embarrassing ideas on the table. Lots of ideas that start out ‘bad’ become great with the right amount of time, effort and humility.
